The LWDA is an executive branch agency that provides leadership to protect and improve the well-being of California's current and future workforce. The Assistant General Counsel is a mid-level Attorney III position, working under the general direction of the LWDA General Counsel.  The Assistant General Counsel will work on complex and high-profile litigation and other legal issues, working closely with the LWDA General Counsel and the small, collaborative legal team within LWDA.  The Assistant General Counsel provides advice and counsel to LWDA and its departments, boards, and panel on a wide variety of labor and employment law, government law, and other legal and policy issues.
