FAMILIES AND DOGS WELCOME!
We’ll be heading to Santiago Oaks Regional Park for the best dam "hike" in Orange County! (According to Weekend Sherpa) This 3-1/2 mile loop goes through riparian and chaparral environments with mountain vistas and two impressive dams. Families and dogs are welcome! There is a picnic area near the nature center (which is currently closed) as well as restrooms.
Please be sure you are able to complete a 3.5 mile walk before signing up for this event. (The trails are marked as "easy", but there are some stairs involved.) Bring plenty of water and a snack. $5 for parking.
