The Judicial Council of California seeks a Supervising Attorney for CFCC’s Court Assistance, Resources, and Education unit to lead juvenile law projects.

This role oversees staff, contractors, and high-profile initiatives; manages project deliverables; and directs legal analysis, policy implementation, and development of rules and forms related to juvenile law. Working with leadership, the Supervising Attorney ensures timely project execution, supports courts through legal guidance and education, and collaborates with stakeholders at the state and federal level.

Responsibilities include overseeing responses to legislative and Judicial Council actions affecting juvenile court rules and forms; directing development and review of related legal and policy issues; supervising attorneys’ analysis and reports; managing 7–15 rule and form proposals annually; supporting the Family and Juvenile Law Advisory Committee; and providing legal oversight of juvenile law grant projects.

Qualifications: Juris Doctor and four (4) years of post-bar experience as a practicing attorney, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory role and active membership in the State Bar of California required prior to hire.

Location: San Francisco or Sacramento, CA.

Salary with benefits: $14,421 - $17,306 per month.
