The Premise Liability Mid-level to Senior Associate must have at least 5+ years of experience to join our Premises Liability Team.

The Premises Liability Team manages a diverse range of cases, including the defense of restaurants, retail stores, sports clubs, attractions, theaters, and other businesses. Associates work closely with lead attorneys daily, engaging in all phases of litigation—from case evaluation and discovery to trial presentation—focusing on strategic thinking to achieve client goals.  

Responsibilities:

• Attending court hearings, participating in site inspections, taking and defending depositions.
• Drafting extensive written discovery, including preparing and responding to interrogatories, documents requests and request for admissions.
• Evaluating, analyzing, assessing, and executing litigation strategies.
• Proactively manage communications with clients throughout the course of litigation.

Qualifications:

• J.D. and active California Bar membership in good standing.

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience.

• Premises liability litigation experience preferred.

• Strong legal research, writing, and attention to detail.

• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Locations (California): Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, and San Diego.

Annual salary range with benefits: $135,000 – $185,000.
