Founded in 1981, The Public Law Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing free legal services to low income residents and other nonprofits in Orange County. Last year, Public Law Center staff and volunteers provided over 65,000 hours of free legal services in handling over 4,500 cases benefiting low-income children, adults and seniors. The estimated value of this work is roughly $60 million in just the past three years. Our services include counseling, individual representation, community education and strategic policy advocacy and impact litigation to challenge societal injustices.

Staff Attorney – Immigration Unit (Remote/Hybrid)

UC Legal is filling two full-time positions that require substantial expertise in the labor and employment practice area. One position will have a portfolio with an emphasis advising on traditional labor matters. The other position will have a portfolio with an emphasis on representing the University in pre-litigation employment claims, including engaging directly with opposing counsel and participating in alternative dispute resolution. All members of the labor and employment practice area provide advice to a diverse client base for the University's 230,000 person workforce, including systemwide and campus human resources, academic personnel, compliance, and risk management staff. 

Payscale: $225,000 - $260,000, commensurate with experience

Kutak Rock LLP seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its Los Angeles office. Qualified candidates have at least six years of complex civil litigation experience. Experience in asbestos, toxic tort, product liability, and personal injury defense preferred, but not required.  This dynamic role affords the opportunity to work in Kutak Rock’s expanding regional and national Litigation practice.

Position Information
Salary Range: $170,000-$190,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Status: Exempt
Work Location: Hybrid 3:2
